Begin with a brief walk from your cruise ship terminal in Skagway to your meeting point where your local concierge is waiting. Walk together to the White Pass & Yukon Railroad Depot to board the historic White Pass & Yukon Route narrow-gauge railroad for a scenic 1.5-hour trip through the coastal mountains into British Columbia, Canada. Experience the breathtaking panorama of mountains, glaciers, gorges, waterfalls, tunnels, trestles, and historic sites as you climb almost 3,000 feet in 20 miles.
You’ll arrive in Fraser, BC and meet your professional cycling guides – versed in the ecology and history of the area as well as all things biking and take a short van ride along the scenic Klondike Highway to the summit of the White Pass.
After a bicycle and safety orientation, it’s fifteen scenic miles downhill from the summit to the sea! As you coast along the paved Klondike Highway on this 1.5-hour bike ride, you can make multiple stops, taking photos of the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, cascading waterfalls, awe-inspiring glaciers, majestic mountains, and other historic sites.
